1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or booking a class with Chocolates & Cheers ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Our Services

Chocolates & Cheers offers hands-on chocolate truffle making classes with optional wine and craft beer tasting experiences, located at The Wine Experience on Cannery Row, Monterey, CA. Classes are available for individuals, couples, groups, and corporate team building events.

3. Booking & Payment

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
• Prices are listed per person and are subject to change without notice. Confirmed bookings are honored at the price paid.
• Payment is processed securely through GoDaddy Commerce. We do not store your payment card information.
• A booking confirmation will be sent to the email address provided at checkout.
• Class capacity is limited to 12 participants. Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• 72+ hours before class: Full refund or free rescheduling.
• 24–72 hours before class: 50% refund or free rescheduling (one time).
• Less than 24 hours before class: No refund. Rescheduling is at our discretion.
• No-shows: No refund will be issued for no-shows.
• Class cancellation by us: If we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no charge.

5. Age Requirements & Alcohol Policy

• Participants of all ages are welcome for the chocolate making portion of the class.
• Wine and craft beer tasting add-ons are available only to participants aged 21 and over. Valid government-issued photo ID is required.
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone who appears intoxicated or cannot provide valid ID.
• We encourage responsible consumption. Please arrange appropriate transportation if you plan to consume alcohol.

6. Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Our classes involve chocolate, dairy, and other common allergens. If you or a member of your party has food allergies or dietary restrictions, please notify us at the time of booking. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Participation is at your own risk.

7. Conduct & Participation

• Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward instructors and fellow guests.
• We reserve the right to remove any participant from a class without refund for disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior.
• Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be able to join the class in progress.
• Wear clothing you don't mind getting chocolate on — aprons are provided but chocolate happens!

8. Photography & Media

By attending a class, you consent to being photographed or filmed for use in our marketing materials, social media, and website. If you do not wish to be photographed, please notify us before the class begins and we will respect your preference.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chocolates & Cheers and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our classes or use of our website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific class giving rise to the claim.

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and recipes — is the property ofChocolates & Cheers and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Monterey County, California.
